FENCE DEPOT offers a beautiful, durable, and safe 2 rail flat top steel fence. In addition, the steel flat top fencing can enhance the appeal and personality of your home or business. Using widely in residential areas and business parks.
Crafted from high-quality steel, our 2-rail flat top fences comprise robust top and bottom rails complemented by strong vertical pickets, all securely welded for maximum integrity. When paired with our purpose-designed fence posts and brackets, the entire panel achieves exceptional structural stability and a seamless finish.
For superior protection and longevity, these steel fences undergo a dual-layer finishing process: hot-dip galvanizing followed by a premium powder coating. This advanced treatment ensures enhanced durability and outstanding resistance against corrosion and harsh Australian weather conditions. A key safety feature of our design is that the vertical pickets terminate below the top rail, cleverly eliminating any protruding sharp spikes and ensuring a child-friendly solution.
Our flat top steel fence is available in 2-rails. The standard size is 46” H × 94” W, which meets American standards. The fences can be pre-assembled in advance for quick and easy installation. Furthermore, as an ornamental fence manufacturer, we can customize dimensions and colours to precisely meet your specific project requirements and design preferences.

A rigorous inspection of all incoming pre-galvanised steel pipes. This involves precise measurement of outer diameter and wall thickness using calibrated instruments, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications (e.g., tolerances of ±0.05mm for OD and ±5% for wall thickness).
Utilising advanced CNC cutting machinery, profiles are precisely cut to the required lengths as per engineering drawings. Our automated processes achieve cutting accuracies of ±0.5mm, minimising material waste and ensuring consistent panel dimensions.
Cut pipes proceed to automated punching stations where holes are accurately formed according to design. This process ensures precise hole alignment and spacing, crucial for subsequent assembly, with positional tolerances typically held within ±0.2mm.
Pre-galvanised steel pipes are expertly welded into robust panel frames using state-of-the-art robotic MIG/TIG welding technology. This method guarantees strong, consistent, and clean weld joints.
The welded frames undergo abrasive sandblasting, meticulously cleaning and roughening the entire surface. This crucial step removes all impurities such as rust, oil, and mill scale, achieving a surface profile typically conforming to Sa 2.5 cleanliness standards.
Following sandblasting, a high-quality phosphating film is applied. This chemical conversion coating not only provides an initial layer of corrosion resistance but, more importantly, creates a microscopic porous structure that significantly enhances the adhesion of the subsequent powder coating.
Panels are electrostatically sprayed with a durable, exterior-grade polyester powder coating. This high-performance finish is then cured at precise high temperatures, typically 200°C for 15 minutes, ensuring a uniform, hard, and resilient coating with a minimum thickness of 60-120 microns. Meeting ISO 9227 (Salt Spray Test) requirements for over 1000 hours.
Every product undergoes a comprehensive final quality inspection. Including weld integrity, overall dimensional accuracy, material wall thickness, and powder coating adhesion and thickness. Random batch testing also includes cross-hatch adhesion tests and impact resistance tests.
Products are professionally packaged to prevent damage during transit. This typically involves robust steel banding, protective plastic wrapping, and ISPM-15 compliant timber pallets for secure stacking and handling.
