Material

Inspect incoming pre-galvanized steel pipes for outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness per fence design specifications (e.g., OD: 25-50 mm ±0.5 mm; wall thickness: 1.5-2.5 mm ±0.1 mm). Verify zinc layer integrity using a magnetic thickness gauge. Reject non-compliant materials to ensure structural integrity (yield strength ≥235 MPa). 

Cutting

Unload pipes via automated conveyor and cut to precise lengths using CNC plasma or laser cutters based on design requirements. Employ dust extraction systems to minimize hazards. This ensures minimal material waste (<5%) and fits components for efficient assembly, reducing production time by 10%.

Punching

Use hydraulic or CNC punching machines to create holes in cut pipes. Apply anti-burr tooling to maintain edge quality. Inspect for hole alignment (permissibility <1 mm deviation) to facilitate welding.

Welding

Assemble punched pipes into panel frames using MIG/TIG welding on pre-galvanized steel. Zinc coating preserved via low-heat techniques to avoid burn-off >10%. Weld seams achieve full penetration with strength ≥70% of base metal. Post-weld, grind excess to <0.5 mm smoothness.

Perform Sandblasting

Blast the welded frame with garnet or steel grit abrasives at 100-110 psi, removing rust, scale, oil, and residual zinc (achieving surface profile 50-75 μm). This enhances adhesion for subsequent coatings, extending service life to 20+ years in C3-C4 environments.

Phosphating

Immerse or spray with zinc phosphate solution (5-10 μm film thickness, pH 3-4) at 40-60°C for 5-10 minutes. The phosphate layer provides corrosion resistance and boosts coating adhesion. Rinse and dry immediately to avoid contamination, ensuring compatibility with powder coatings.

Powder Coating

Apply epoxy-polyester hybrid powder (60-80 μm dry film thickness) via electrostatic spray gun, followed by curing in a 180-200°C oven for 15-20 minutes. This achieves a durable finish with ≥1000 hours salt spray resistance and UV stability.

Quality Control

We will conduct a quality inspection on each product to check the strength, wall thickness, and powder coating thickness to ensure each product’s quality.

Packaging

Bundle panels with foam separators and shrink-wrap for protection against transit damage. Use steel-strapped wooden pallets compliant with ISPM 15 for international shipping. Include labeling with batch ID, specs, and QR codes for traceability.
